Our Mission
The purpose of GCCC is to share the JOYS of music with children and youth, their families, and our community. We believe that participation in great choral music can have an ennobling effect on young people and can contribute meaningfully to their lives. We try to achieve the highest performance standards within the limitations of rehearsal time and reasonable demands on the singers. It is our hope that we glorify Jesus Christ in our music making.
Ensembles
The GCCC is a community choral program comprised of four ensembles of talented children and youth:
Apprentice Chorus - children in grades 1 and 2 (mature K5 by interview)
Chorus -- children in grades 3 - 5
Choir -- children in grades 6 - 8
Chamber Choir -- youth in grades 9 - 12
