The GCCC is a community choral program comprised of three ensembles of talented children and youth:

        > Chorus -- children in grades 3 - 5

        > Choir -- children in grades 6 - 8

        > Chamber Choir -- youth in grades 9 - 12

Our Mission

The purpose of the Greater Columbia Children's Choirs is to share the joys of great music with young people.  We believe that perception of the expressive qualities of music can best be achieved through actual participation in music. We try to achieve the highest performance standards possible within the limitations of rehearsal time and reasonable demands on the children.  This goal is attainable only if the children and parents take their membership seriously.  All singers join by audition.

The GCCC performed on the USS Intrepid, New York City harbor during their Spring 2006 tour

The GCCC, its staff, Board of Directors, chaperones and Main Street United Methodist Church are in no way responsible in the unlikely event of accident and/or injury to children participating in GCCC functions or travel en route to and from same.
